We are now recruiting for Housing Management and Social Care Apprentices 2017
The Barnet Group has run an apprenticeship scheme for the past seven years and we are proud to support local people to develop their skills through an apprenticeship with us. The window to apply for a 2017 apprenticeship with us is now open: http://bit.ly/2slWiak
Our apprenticeships are open to anyone of working age, from 16 years-old upward, living in the borough of Barnet. Apprenticeships are full-time, 37.5 hours a week for 12 months. You will also receive £192 per week (£10,000 per annum) and academic study to gain a full apprenticeship qualification in Housing Management or Social Care. You must be entitled to work in the United Kingdom and not have a qualification higher than Level 4.
The Housing Management Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship will start with studying and completing a level 2 housing course and lead on to compiling a report relating to housing to gain a full apprenticeship award. The social care apprenticeship involves one day a week release for college to study and gain a full Level 2 apprenticeship in Social Care. Both include an in-house training program and support of a mentor. Successful candidates for Your Choice (Barnet) will be required to complete a disclosure and barring check (DBS, CRB) before their apprenticeship officially starts.
