At Meadowside we have external activity providers coming in regularly to host sessions throughout the week including;
- Flower arranging
- Reminiscence with Barnet museum
- Weekly exercise to music
- Monthly visits from children from a local nursery
- Weekly reading group
- Theatre groups
- Choirs
- Visits from musical entertainers
- Visit from a casino
- Tai Chi
We also do outings such as:
- Trips to the seaside
- Outings on a canal boat
- Theatre trips
- Pub trips and trips out for meals
Meadowside staff also organise in house activities such as:
- Coffee mornings
- Arts and crafts sessions
- Sessions using the Omi projector and large tablet
- Music and sing along sessions
- Quizzes
- Celebrating events / festivals such as black history month, pride month etc
- Celebrating religious festivals such as Christmas, Easter, Kiddish, Simchat Torah etc
