Every year, FLAG, (Flower Lane Action Group) organise a Christmas Fair to get the festive season off to a flying start and raise money for Flower Lane.
Flower Lane’s 2nd December Christmas Fair had games, a tombola, festive refreshments and a raffle, which attracted a good crowd managed to raise £1,400!
Usually Flower Lane has fundraising events throughout the year, and the money goes towards the trips and outings that services users of the service find so beneficial.
However, this year the proceeds from the Flower Lane Christmas Fair will go towards a multi-sensory house. Service users from Rosa Morison gained a sensory garden last year, which they have been enjoying so much!
Flower Lane’s Autism Service provides specialist support to people on the autism spectrum. The most desired outcome is to help service users gain confidence to access the community, so trips and multi-sensory activities/facilities are hugely beneficial for them.
We hope to update you with Flower Lane’s funding endeavours to get their multi-sensory house!
