Your Choice Barnet proudly sponsored and attended Silver Sunday on Sunday 5 October. Silver Sunday is a national day organised by Age UK, inviting people of all generations to come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people. It is a day where older people can meet new people, visit new places, try new activities and connect with their local communities and the generations around them.
For a second year in a row, Your Choice Barnet attended an event organised by Age UK Barnet at Middlesex University in Hendon, North-West London. Proud sponsor Your Choice Barnet attended Silver Sunday promoting two care homes in Finchley, Dell Field Court and Meadowside. In addition, the team promoted new extra care scheme Hester Court in Hendon which opened earlier this year.

“It was great to return to Silver Sunday; it is one of the biggest events of the year for Your Choice Barnet to attend. There was great engagement and interest in our care service offering across Barnet, specifically our dementia-friendly care homes. Our branded cupcakes drew in crowds to our stand, for a nice, sweet treat and a friendly chat with our fabulous team.
“On the day, we had literature explaining the process involved to support anyone who may be considering moving into a care home. At Your Choice Barnet, we understand prospective residents want more choice and we are confident our offering at Silver Sunday gave more options to those who are planning for their later years in life.
