Your Choice Barnet’s CommunitySpace Day Centre in Edgware superbly hosted the annual Your Choice Barnet Customer Awards for people who use the Your Choice Barnet day centres and respite services.
The celebratory event was a joyous occasion for all those attending, which included the Award nominees, Your Choice Barnet staff, and the entire Executive Team of The Barnet Group. There was live entertainment from bands The Latin Formula and the Ginger Tots, a Fish and Chips lunch, refreshments, and afternoon ice cream all kindly funded by The Barnet Group Community Chest Fund which is made up of sponsorship from many of our contractor partners. The event was organised by David Sewell and his energetic team at CommunitySpace, with special thanks to Andy Pardon and Alison for being in the hot kitchen all day cooking! The Master of Ceremonies was the splendid David Thomas from BOOST, and the awards were presented by the guest of honour, The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Tony Vourou.
